At the end of September, the project “Teenagers without Attention: Improving Access to Integrated HIV Services for Vulnerable Adolescents in Ukraine” held a preventive campaign for students of the Irpin Economic College in Kiev region.

First-course adolescents gained knowledge on the prevention of HIV, hepatitis, and STIs. After the lecture, 43 people were tested for HIV, the project medical officer consulted about HIV testing, and discussed how to conduct safe sexual behavior with adolescents.

According to the students, this event was very informative, interesting and useful for them! Facility management invited the team to come to college again and hold an event for senior courses.

The project “Teenagers Without Attention: Improving Access to Integrated HIV Services for Vulnerable Adolescents in Ukraine” is being implemented in collaboration with the ICF “AIDS Foundation East-West” (AFEW-Ukraine) and the ICF “Public Health Alliance”, with the financial support of the Foundation “ French international expertise initiative 5% ”.
