Assistance to women from vulnerable populations and affected by violence
Women affected by violence and women from vulnerable groups across Ukraine are now in terrible situation.
Some had to leave home, some lost it, because they had no way to go or nowhere to run, they could not leave their old parents…
Convictus Ukraine from the first day of the war maintains communication with shelters and centers of social and psychological assistance in Chernivtsi and Verkhovyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region. They have already accommodated more than 300 internally displaced persons.
The needs assessment showed a lack of hygiene products for women and children, funds for clients for travel, personal needs, support of specialists due to excessive workload.
We meet the needs of our friendly institutions and their clients and have already personally handed over hygiene products and basic products for women who are temporarily displaced in Chernivtsi. Women from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Center for Social and Psychological Assistance will receive targeted financial assistance. 10 packages of documents for payment have already been collected.
Our psychologist-psychotherapist Larysa Horina works for those staff members who are on the verge of burnout and is available by phone +380 (93) 742 56 64.
Shelter assistance is possible thanks to our donor, the Eurasian Harm Reduction Association.
