Last fall, 32 women from the city of Kyiv and 13 from the city of Vasylkiv received funding to start their own businesses as part of the #SOSDITY project.
The all-Ukrainian charitable organization Convictus Ukraine and SOS Children’s Villages started helping women affected by the war to become more confident and economically stronger. Experts conducted 5 trainings on the basics of running your own business and developing business plans, and then supported 45 business plans. Each of the project participants received about UAH 14 thousand.
The Kyiv region was highlighted by the successes of four heroines who are engaged in gift design, sewing, baking, and growing vegetables.
