At June 25, on the eve of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, the round table “Priority Today – Healthy Personality” was held in the press center. Representatives of the Zhytomyr local government, the city center of social services for families, children and youth, as well as representatives of other state structures, public associations of the cities of Zhytomyr and Kiev, who are involved in such preventive work, took part in the round table.

“Convictus Ukraine has extensive experience in implementing programs aimed at combating HIV/AIDS, socially dangerous diseases, providing access to drug users, their treatment and support. We are with gladness responded to supporting the city of Zhitomir in the development of these services, and are also ready to transfer our models of work “, said Evgeniya Kuvshinova, Executive Director of Convictus Ukraine.

After the round-table meeting, the street information and educational campaign “Healthy –that’s cool!” was held. At which everyone could go through anonymous HIV testing, and also receive counseling on the prevention of infection with socially dangerous diseases and the conduct of a healthy lifestyle.
