Convictus Ukraine provides emergency and crisis intervention services for trans* people
From October 2021, Convictus Ukraine provides emergency and crisis intervention services for trans* people who need:
– emergency shelter;
– psychological assistance;
– peer-to-peer support;
– a grocery basket within the R15 direction “Providing a safe environment for transgender people who are in a crisis situation” (donor – Alliance for Public Health).
Already ten trans* people have received services in the most critical period of their lives: during running away from home, strained relations with parents, the threat of deportation from the country, violence from a partner, and deterioration of the financial situation.
After the start of a full-scale war, the services were used by trans* people who were in transit in Kyiv during the evacuation abroad.
To receive services, you can contact our “peer-to-peer” consultant. She will gladly advise and organize the support process – 073 468 79 25 (Diana).
