How HIV-positive displaced persons can obtain ART. Material on Ukrainska Pravda

For more than 20 years, organizations have been working in Ukraine to do everything possible to ensure that people with HIV, tuberculosis and hepatitis are fully provided with treatment and have a comfortable standard of living.

In particular, this is taken care of by the USAID HealthLink Project: Accelerating HIV Efforts in Ukraine, which is implemented by AUCO “100% Life” – the Network of PLWH (NGO “All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS”) in partnership with the ICF “Alliance for Public Health”.

Every third Ukrainian who got to know about their HIV status learned about it thanks to HealthLink.

Of course, the war compelled the organizations to adapt their activities, forcing them to immediately expand or change the areas of work.

Ukrainska Pravda told in its article what regional charitable organizations are doing today to help HIV-positive people.

Oleksiy Pohrebnyi, Project Manager of AUCO “Convictus Ukraine”, spoke about the organization’s work in the Kyiv region.
