Initiative groups in Kyiv region implement their activities within the project “Integrated Humanitarian Response in Conditions of War and Post-War Reconstruction.”

Dopomoha Blyzhnyomu NGO is finishing the equipment of a social laundry room for people affected by the war.

The charity is equipping the premises where people can wash and dry their laundry. Besides, while doing their laundry, people will have a chance to have a cup of tea or coffee as there will also be a kitchen with a fridge. Charity team members say that they do everything possible to make sure that people who left their homes can feel warm and cozy in their community.

Vershyna-1 NGO in the community of Zhorniv drilled a well and started working on a system of water supply. As of today, the well has been drilled, the accompanying works have been completed, and all the activities are implemented according to the plan. Oleksiy Pohrebnyi, Project Officer of Convictus Ukraine visited the community to support the initiative group and share the joy of making it happen together.
