Master classes for children: February activities in the Safe Space

In February, internally displaced children were drawing, having fun, and making motanka dolls in the Obolon Safe Space hub in Kyiv. The master classes were organized within the #SOSChildren project.

During eight meetings held in February, 72 children learned new things, got acquainted with each other and were able to find some inspiration in the hub.

They made watercolor and gouache drawings “Magic Winter,” “Rabbit – Symbol of the Year,” “Valentine Card for My Mother,” “Maslyana,” and “Ukraine in My Heart.” They also made motanka dolls with their own hands.

Svitlana Lysyuk from Severodonetsk, who is a master of crafts and a client of the Safe Space hub, helped children to reveal their talents.

The hub plans to continue introducing young Ukrainians to the world of art.
