Yesterday, an institutional meeting of the members of the project “Equal Access to assistance for victims of violence against women” was held, which had begun this year. Implementation of the project became possible thanks to the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.

The project will last for a year and aims at a situational analysis, a change in discriminatory conditions in refuges/ centers/ shelters for victims, training with marginalized women for professionals, development of women’s movement, working with mass media and with the community.

The project will cover 7 regions of Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
