Partnership “Let’s stop tuberculosis. Ukraine” held a webinar “Possibilities of NGOs to provide services to people with tuberculosis during war by using the updated OneImpact system”.

The event was presented by Olga Klymenko, the Head of the Partnership Committee.

Yana Terleeva, Head of Coordination of Tuberculosis Diagnostics and Treatment Programs Department at Public Health Center, spoke about the national response to tuberculosis in wartime conditions: challenges and problems in the medical field, morbidity statistics by region, international support, cooperation with the public, innovations, plans and prospects.

Maria Bondarenko, coordinator of the regional development department of TBpeopleUkraine, shared her experience of using the #OneImpact mobile application as a tool for informing about the possibilities and gathering the needs of patients related to war.

Head of the secretariat of the Partnership “Let’s stop tuberculosis. Ukraine” Olha Tsviliy, presented to the webinar participants the Platform for gathering needs in the field of tuberculosis as a tool for coordinating service and donor organizations.

The discussion panel “Best practices for overcoming critical situations and adaptation of NGOs to the conditions of war” was moderated by Yevhenia Kuvshynova, executive director of the Convictus Ukraine. During this panel, representatives of NGOs shared their experiences of working during the war in the country. Oleksandr Volontyr, the Convictus Ukraine project manager, told how work was organized during the occupation of the Kyiv region.
