Street action “Time to stop tuberculosis” took place in Kyiv

9 student teams from metropolitan universities participated in the event and tested and improved their knowledge of tuberculosis during the interactive quest.

The event was devoted to the World Tuberculosis Day which is marked on March 24. According to the Center for Public Health, the number of cases of active TB, including its relapse, amounted to 26 321 among the total population of Ukraine in 2018. Only in February this year, 2 265 Ukrainians learned that they were ill with tuberculosis.

During the action, the Kyiv residents and visitors of the city were able to receive reliable information about diseases and prevention of tuberculosis, to take pictures near interactive photoson, to receive printed photos from the hashprinter.
