Team of psychologists of the #SOSChildren project in Desniansky district of Kyiv
Motivation of the psychologists in the #SOSChildren project is supporting people affected by the war. Our psychologists continue working in the Desniansky district of Kyiv. They are close when people need them.
Anastasia Klymenko mostly works with the people who were forced to leave their homes, who are struggling to adjust to new realities and experience difficulties related to their family relations. Anastasia helps people discover their potential despite any challenges they face as it gives them strength to rebuild their lives.
Tetiana Khokhlova works with IDPs – children and adults – who need long-term therapy because of their physical and emotional state. Tetiana helps families as emotional stability is the basis of healthy relations.
Ruben Meletian understands the importance of psychological support for people who experienced shelling better than anyone else as he had this kind of experience himself in Kharkiv. Ruben works with PTSD and related symptoms: sleep problems, anxiety, aggression, low mood. In his work, he uses the experience of Israel as in this case it is effective.
