The teams of Convictus Ukraine and Cohorta NGO took part in the management meeting and the training for trainers on the TRANSIT and decision-making bodies held in Yerevan (Armenia)

A team of three representatives of Convictus Ukraine and Cohorta NGO took part in the management meeting and the training for trainers on the TRANSIT and decision-making bodies held in Yerevan (Armenia). The participants included activists from the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

At the event, the participants learned about:

– Where and how to use TRANSIT to improve the situation of trans* people in Ukraine;

– How to implement and monitor trans* specific services;

– What approaches to planning and developing HIV programs are the best;

– What are the decision-making bodies;

– Why it is important to be part of the CCMs and how to influence the decisions important for the community in such bodies;

– What is the experience of implementing HIV prevention programs and available analytical data on the cascades and continuum of services in all ECOM partner countries.

 

The event was held within the Trans* Map in EECA project supported be the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
