The third meeting was held within the Women and War series in Vasylkiv in Kyiv region.
Two air raid alerts before the event reminded us how precious is the time we can spend together as a community of opinion leaders, alumni of the Opportunities Workshop, activists and experts in social issues, culture, and other spheres.
Feedback from the meeting:
“The workshop on the information hygiene opened my eyes and showed me how many fakes there are around us. I have learned how to check and verify information,” told Iryna, participant of the event.
“Forum theater is something unbelievable. It turns out we have so many gender stereotypes, which go from one generation to the other. I thank you for this chance to realize that it can all be changed, this circle can be broken, I do not have to pass outdated behavior models to my daughter,” shared Tetiana, who tried performing in front of more than 20 viewers.
“We are sorry that not all people we invited were able to join us as public transport was not working because of the air raid alerts and the threat of missile attacks. But we understand that safety is our first priority! After our victory, we will keep having meetings with the women of Vasylkiv, planning our future, bringing our joint ideas to life and sharing our achievements,” underlined Yuliia Tsarevska, Manager of the WINGS project.
The event was held within the WINGS project implemented by Pact Ukraine and Convictus Ukraine with support of the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine.
