Training on working with marginalised women

On June 20-21, Poltava hosted a training for specialists of the Centers, which deal with people who suffered from violence. The organizer of the educational event was All-Ukrainian charitable organization “Сonvictus Ukraine”.

Within two days, women from Kyiv, Donetsk, Chernivtsi, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv and Poltava regions were trained by women in working with marginalized society. Note that the training proved to be very debatable and productive. Specialists “Convictus Ukraine” talked about real cases and shared their own experience with women who belong to marginalized groups.

The training took place within the framework of the project “Equal access to assistance to victims of violence against women” with the support of ICF “Vіdrodzhennya.” This project is implemented by “Convictus Ukraine” from 2017. The goal is to reduce the risks of violent exposure, diseases among marginalised women through increased access of those who have been subjected to violence and sought help through shelters / centres for victims.
