Two workshops on starting a business organized in Kyiv for alumni of the Wings Project 3rd cycle
In early October, two workshops on starting a business were organized in Kyiv for alumni of the Wings Project 3rd cycle.
Over 40 women gained unique knowledge and skills on self-employment, taxation, pricing, and marketing of their goods/services.
“I pumped my idea and saw its strengths and opportunities for growth. My business can grow even in such hard times. I am counting on the support of my family and the project,” says Svitlana, participant of the 3-day event.
“I decided to wait before submitting my business plan and make an audience research. That’s because I was looking at the idea to open a salon wearing my “rose-tinted glasses.” The knowledge I have gained helped me understand that neither my savings nor the project support would be enough for such a big project. Return on investment years later is not for me considering the current situation,” shares Olena, project alumna.
We wish our women and girls economic security and look forward to receiving business plans from the participants of the two workshops we have held.
